  • Internet Resources for Latin America
    Compiled by a librarian at New Mexico State University, it is a collection of links to resources of interest to Latin American specialists. Resources are in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The guide includes links to the Internet directories and indexes, public domain and commercial databases, online news, academic information, organizations, general interest sites, mailing lists, and newsgroups. Each resource is annotated.
  • Latin World
    It is very similar in format to CiberCentro, has Spanish and English interfaces and is organized by country. However, it not only includes resources from Spain, but also from the United States. Latin World also has keyword searching capability so it is possible to query the whole directory at a time.
  • LANIC
    LANIC, the acronym for Latin American Network Information Center, is a regional directory of Internet-based information on, from, or about Latin America. It is affiliated with the Institute of Latin American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. LANIC includes resources in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It provides a subject directory for browsing, and a search form for keyword searching.

  • Educar.Org
    Aims to promote education in the Hispanic world by way of the interactive communications tools available on the Internet. Its Web site provides many services, including distribution of educational software and documents, virtual forums, directory of educational resources, mailing lists, and full-text articles from magazines.
  • Psicomundo
    A directory of mental health resources, covers the areas of general psychology, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, addictions, eating disorders, and group and gestalt therapy. The links include Web resources, mailing lists, and forums.
  • Psicolenlaces
    A bilingual directory of resources about psychology and psychotherapy, allows searching by geographical area and resource title.
  • Psicologia.cl
    Formerly known as PsicoHispano, provides a specialized search engine to locate Spanish-language Web sites about psychology. It also includes a directory of links, a chat service, and a mailing list.
  • EconRed
    It is a directory of Web resources on economics and business compiled by the Economics and Business Administration Library of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Resources are in English and Spanish.
