  • Praxis Series Tests
    An Educational Testing Service (ETS) program that provides tests and other services for states to use as part of their teacher certification process. The Iowa Board of Educational Examiners will not issue you a teaching license without taking the Praxis II examination. Praxis Series assessments are also used by colleges and universities to qualify individuals for entry into teacher education programs. A number of professional associations and organizations also use these tests. Study guides are on reserve in the library or you may purchase your own from the ETS store. Advanced registration is required. See Career Services in Heelan Hall Room 057.
